9th International Conference “The Jewish Field: New Discoveries, Experience, and Conceptualization”
At the ninth annual conference, we will traditionally discuss new research in Jewish anthropology, folklore studies, linguistics, sociology, epigraphy, and archaeology, as well as the history and culture of Jews in Russia and the USSR, Jewish collections and archives, and related topics.
This year, together with the Faculty of Humanities at the Higher School of Economics (Moscow), we will hold an interdisciplinary section on digital archives and methods of digital humanities research. We invite researchers to discuss how modern technologies are transforming the work with sources and opening up access to previously unknown layers of history and culture.
